Multiple quote options, Scheduled reminders, Business intelligence 2.0, and 40+ upgrades

Hey there πŸ‘‹ We've added 43 new features and upgrades to make MonuDesk even better for you .
The highlights: give a family several priced quote options in one job, find every reminder you set waiting on your dashboard, and read a rebuilt Business Intelligence that tells money won from quotes written. Here's everything that's new:

πŸͺ¨ Multiple quote options

  • New Quote β†’ + β†’ Add quote option β€” price Quote A, B and C for the same family in one job, each with its own stones, or Duplicate quote option to copy one and tweak it.
  • One slim row β€” the switcher sits on a single line, and its β‹― menu adds, duplicates, renames or removes a quote or a stone.
  • The option they choose becomes the order β€” confirm it and it takes the job's place on the board, counted once in your numbers.

πŸ”” Scheduled reminders

  • Dashboard β†’ Reminders β€” the reminders you set now have a tab of their own next to Tasks, with a count on the tab so nothing sits unseen.
  • Upcoming and Done β€” everything still to come in one list, anything overdue counting up in plain language, and everything you've ticked off on the second tab.
  • Open it from the notification β€” View on a reminder notification lands you on that tab with the reminder pulsing.
  • Tick it off β€” a completed reminder clears itself off Upcoming and shows on Done straight away.

πŸ“Š Business Intelligence 2.0

  • Revenue means money won β€” only orders past the Quote stage count, dated by the day you confirmed them, and Quotes written is its own metric for your pipeline.
  • Pick a metric, then a breakdown β€” the old "Revenue by …" and "Top …" lists are breakdowns now, so any metric splits by salesperson, cemetery, stone colour, delivery method or stage.
  • Ranked bars β€” a third chart type next to Line and Bar ranks any metric by the breakdown you pick.
  • Clearer reading β€” each line shows its share of the period, the tooltip lists the biggest first, and up to 20 categories show before anything rolls into Other.

πŸ“¨ Purchase orders by email (Pro)

  • Conversations β†’ attach a purchase order β€” the message becomes a branded PO email to your vendor, with any extra files you attach.
  • One-click vendor confirmation β€” the vendor confirms from the email, and PO Tracking moves the PO from Awaiting to Acknowledged and fills in the Confirmed date.
  • Approve in PO Tracking records a vendor who confirmed by phone.
  • Send me a test sends the email to your own inbox first, and Send again re-sends a PO that already went out.

πŸ‘€ Contacts

  • New Quote β†’ Full Name β€” type the whole name in one box and MonuDesk splits first and last name for you; Edit adjusts the split.
  • Business names stay whole β€” pick a business category and Smith Family Trust is saved as one name.
  • Search by any word β€” contacts and order search find a client by any part of their name, business names included.

🧾 Pricing, tax and documents

  • Service β†’ Pricing Type β†’ By Quantity β€” sell by the piece, like 10 bricks at $90 each, and the invoice shows the real quantity.
  • Lettering priced by letter count prints on the invoice as 42 letters Γ— $3.50 per letter.
  • Lettering on the contract β€” the names, dates and inscription from a lettering work order print on the customer contract, so the family signs for exactly what gets cut.
  • Base price β€” the Base box adds to the die price, so a $3,000 die with a $600 base totals $3,600.
  • Base tax switch β€” when die and base bill as separate lines, the Base row in the price summary gets its own T tax toggle.
  • Terms β†’ 0% down β€” save any order as a Confirmed Order with no deposit.

πŸ“¦ Accessories and Inventory

  • Settings β†’ Order Management β†’ Accessories and Inventory are one catalogue now. Add, edit or remove a vase, photo, urn or QR code on either side and the other follows, price included.
  • Inventory β†’ Urns and QR Codes tabs, plus metal vases.
  • Match what you already have β€” a banner on Inventory lists accessories to match, and a vase gets one card per price group: Create one item for shared stock or Each colour separately.
  • Stock comes off on confirm β€” the Deduct prompt lists linked vases, urns and photos next to reused stones.
  • Reprice one vase colour in Inventory and it moves to its own price row in Settings, leaving the other colours alone.
  • QR codes as an accessory β€” set up brands, sizes and prices under Settings β†’ Order Management β†’ Accessories β†’ QR Codes, then add one in New Quote β†’ Accessories.
  • Accessory photos β€” every vase, photo and urn option in Settings β†’ Order Management β†’ Accessories takes a picture.

πŸ“… Dashboard, board and scheduling

  • Install day email β€” schedule an install and MonuDesk offers to email the customer the date, from the order, the calendar or Installation Planning.
  • Promise date soonest β€” a new column sort on the order board, with undated orders at the bottom.
  • Settings β†’ Order Management β†’ Count active orders only β€” the board header count and totals leave out Quotes and Completed.
  • Priority colours β€” Urgent is red, High priority orange, Action needed yellow and Info blue.
  • Smoother drag and drop on full columns, and several quick stage moves save as one.

βš™οΈ Settings

  • Settings β†’ Customer Portal β†’ Send the portal link automatically β€” choose whether new orders email the customer their portal link, and change it per order on Review & Create.
  • Settings β†’ Profile β†’ Profile Information β€” your photo, name and phone, with the photo showing on assignee chips, mentions and notifications.
  • Settings β†’ Team β€” invite a former team member back with their old email.

The rest

  • Insights β†’ Order Summary β†’ Order by β€” Newest first or Oldest first, remembered on every device.
  • Dimension units β€” New Quote and Inventory remember whether you work in ft-in or inches, per user.
  • Purchase orders going to one destination print the ship-to address in the header.
  • To-dos β€” the # order link works while editing a to-do, not only when creating one.
