How to Hide Prices on Your Screen

You can blur every price on your screen with one click, which is handy when a customer or visitor is looking over your shoulder. Click the dollar icon in the top bar to turn it on.

What it does

When it is on, prices, totals, and balances across the app are blurred. Click the dollar icon again to bring the numbers back. This only affects your own screen for the current session, so it does not change anything on the order and does not affect your teammates.

Hiding prices for an entire role

The dollar icon is a personal, temporary blur. If you want to hide prices for a whole role permanently, your company owner can do that with the Can see prices permission in Settings → Team Members → Permissions.

Here is how the two are different:

• Dollar icon (this article): a quick, personal toggle that only blurs prices on your own screen for the current session. Turn it on or off whenever you like.

• Can see prices permission: a permanent setting an owner controls per role. When an owner turns Can see prices off for a role, everyone in that role sees no prices anywhere in the app, and they cannot turn them back on.

So if your prices are always hidden and there is no dollar icon to switch them back, your role most likely has the Can see prices permission turned off. Ask your company owner to review it.
