To search for an order, use Smart Search at the top of the Order Management board. You can search by customer name, decedent name, cemetery name, stone color, monument or service type, specific service description (Cleaning, Restoration, Lettering, etc), order number, phone number, or email.
How it works
Start typing and the board instantly filters to show only the orders that match. All other cards are hidden while the search is active. Whatever matches your search is highlighted on the order card.
Monument types match by name, so typing footstone or ledger brings up the orders carrying that kind of stone.
Order types match the same labels as the type badge on the order card: Monument, Service and Service & Monument, the last one for an order that carries both.
A decedent is found whichever way round the name is typed: John Smith, Smith John, Smith, John, or with a middle name. Decedent names on the cards follow Show decedent names as, at the top of Settings β Card Display.
Clear the search bar to bring back the full board.
Good to know
The search works across all stages at the same time. If the order you're looking for is in Quote or In Production or anywhere else, it will show up as long as it matches.
If your company has more than one location, the search finds orders from every location while Staff can open orders from other locations is on in Settings β Office Locations, and you can open and work on them. That setting is on unless your owner turns it off; with it off, the search covers the locations you work in.
If you can't find an order, it may have been completed or cancelled. Open Archives, the archive-box button in the board toolbar, and search the Completed and Cancelled Orders window instead.
