Custom Service Types
Add your own service types so the Service dropdown matches the work your shop actually does.

MonuDesk comes with five built-in service types β Repairs / Leveling, Cleaning, Lettering, Litho / Refinish, and On-Site Service. If your shop offers work that doesn't fit those, you can add your own custom service types, and they appear right alongside the built-in ones.
Adding a service type
Go to Settings β Service Types. Click + Add Service Type, give it a name (for example "Bronze Restoration" or "Foundation Pour"), and click Save Changes.
Where they appear
Your custom types show up in the Service Type dropdown in the Items & Configuration β Service step of a new quote, mixed in with the built-in types. Pick one exactly like any other service type. Each service on an order has its own service type, so an order holding several services can use a different type for each.
The type you picked also shows on the order card once the Stone type row is switched on under Settings β Card Display: on a service order that card line, labelled Stone Type, carries the service type's name.
When you filter the order board by order type, the Services group lists every service type from Settings β Service Types, custom and deactivated ones included, plus Other services. In the Product Gallery (Pro), photos and drawings from a service order are filed into a folder named after its service type.
Enabled / Disabled: toggle a type off to hide it from the dropdown without deleting it. Delete removes it permanently β existing orders that already use it are not affected.
