A Tour of the Settings Menu
A map of all fourteen Settings sections plus a where-do-I-set-this lookup, so you stop hunting for the screen you need.

Settings is pinned at the very bottom of the left sidebar. Click it and Settings opens as a panel over whatever you were doing: the list of sections runs down the left, the section you pick opens on the right, and the X at the top right closes it and puts you back where you were. There is also a Settings link in the profile menu at the top right of the app, which lands you on Company Profile.
There are fifteen sections. That is a lot to scan, so use the Search settings... box above the list. Type vendor, tax or signature and the list narrows as you type. This article is the other half of that: one line per section telling you what you come here for, then a lookup list at the end for the questions people actually ask.
Two things that change what you see. You only see the sections your role is allowed to open, so a shorter list is normal for a non-owner. And on a phone, four sections are left out: Team, Billing, Order Management and Integrations. On a phone you get the section list first, tap one to open it, and use the back arrow at the top to return to the list.
The sections, in menu order
1. Company Profile. Your business details as they appear on invoices, quotes and emails: company name, contact name, address, country, phone, email and your sales tax percentage. It also holds your company logo and a Left / Center / Right control for where that logo prints on a document, with a live preview. It also holds Order & Quote Numbering, where you set the prefix and the next number for orders and quotes (and a location prefix once you run more than one office, giving numbers like L1-ORD-001).
2. Team. Invite people, remove them, and set what each one can see and do. Roles are built here too, with Role Presets for the common shapes so you are not starting from a blank permission list.
3. Billing. Your MonuDesk subscription: the plan you are on, your team seats, your paid locations, and Manage billing, which opens the Creem portal to change your card, read past invoices or cancel. This is what your shop pays MonuDesk, not how you take money from families.
4. Order Management. The biggest section, and a menu rather than a single page. Six rows, each opening its own screen:
Card Display - what your team sees on each order card.
Order Deadline Alerts - turn order cards yellow or red as the promise date gets close.
Quote Price Guarantee - flag aging quotes once they pass the price-guarantee window.
To-Dos - enable, disable and customize the task badges on orders. This is where to-dos live. There is no To-Dos entry in the main Settings list.
Stages - your pipeline columns, their names, their order and their colors. Each stage also carries a pill reading Customer-facing or Internal only: that is the switch that decides whether the stage appears on your customer's portal progress timeline, and you can add portal subtext to it too. This is where the family's progress timeline is shaped.
Accessories - your vase, photo, etching and cremation urn options.
5. Custom Line Items. Reusable line items with a name and a price, so they auto-fill when you add them to a quote. On a multi-office account you can give each one a different price per location. Editing one here does not change orders you have already written.
6. Service Types. The service types your team picks from when creating a service order - lettering, cleaning, resetting, cemetery preservation, whatever you sell. It is its own top-level section, not a page inside Order Management. Deactivating a type hides it from new orders; existing orders keep the name they were written with.
7. Colors. The colors your team picks from, sorted into five groups: All, Granite catalog, Granite vases only, Metal vases only and Bronze only. A color sits in one group, and you file it by dragging its card from one group into another. All is offered everywhere. Granite catalog covers monuments, bases, inventory and granite vases, and is never offered on a metal or bronze vase. The three vase groups keep finish names such as MetalCraft and bronze off your monuments. Each group has its own add button, so a new color starts in the right place. The Metal vases only and Bronze only groups come already stocked with common finish names. If some of your colors were filed before these groups existed you will also see a temporary Any vase (unsorted) group; drag each color out of it and the group disappears once it is empty. If you would rather not drag, you can still change a color's group from the Shown on dropdown inside Edit Color. Add, rename, upload a photo of the granite, search, or remove. Anything you remove drops into Hidden colors with a Restore button, and existing orders keep their color either way. It is the same list New Quote shows under Materials & Color, and edits sync both ways, and a color you add from inside a quote lands in All.
8. Inventory. How inventory behaves rather than what is in it. Turn on wholesale pricing to track separate wholesale and retail prices for business customers, and control whether items are automatically added to inventory from your orders.
9. Vendors. The suppliers you buy from, their contact details, and the shipping timeframe you expect from each one. These are the vendors that appear in the picker when you raise a purchase order.
10. Office Locations. Your shop locations, their addresses, each location's own Default tax rate, and each location's own Logo. The field previews the logo you uploaded, you swap it by clicking the thumbnail, and you can remove it at any time, and a Left / Center / Right control sets where it prints. The logo prints on every document MonuDesk generates, and an office's own logo is used ahead of the company logo from Company Profile. There is a one-click background eraser for logos that arrive sitting inside a solid white box. Add a second location here, and it becomes selectable in the office switcher in the top bar. Extra locations are billed, see Billing.
11. Cemeteries. The cemeteries you install in: contacts, their rules and fees, and the installation timeframe each one needs. Filling these in is what makes cemetery fees calculate on a quote instead of being typed by hand.
12. Counties/Zones. Sales tax rates by county, and the zones you route by. If you plan installs by area rather than by county line, name your zones here and the Installations page will group by them.
13. Conversations. Company-wide settings for the built-in inbox, in two rows: Email Signature (automatically added to the end of emails you send) and Email Templates (shared replies your whole team can send in one click).
14. Integrations. Connect QuickBooks Online and other outside services, per office. It also holds Dimension order in QuickBooks, which tells MonuDesk whether a QuickBooks item name like Bevel 24x10x4 means width by height by thickness or some other order, so imported items land with their sizes in the right boxes. This is also where the Order sync activity log lives, showing everything MonuDesk has done in your QuickBooks per order, so you can see exactly why something did or did not sync.
15. Documents. Your company contract text, the wording that prints on your agreements. It has a formatting toolbar, so bold, lists and paragraph breaks all carry through to the PDF.

Three paths that do not exist
These come up often enough to name outright, because looking for them wastes real time:
There is no Settings → To-Dos. To-dos are a row inside Order Management.
There is no Settings → Order Management → Service Types. Service Types is a top-level section in its own right.
There is no Settings → Profile. Your email signature is under Conversations, and your password is changed from the login screen, not from Settings.
Also worth knowing: what the family sees on the portal is set in two places. Which stage names and subtext appear on their progress timeline is set per stage in Order Management → Stages, and whether a particular file is shared is set per file on the order itself. There is no separate Customer Portal section in Settings.
