Custom Monument Types
Add your own monument types in Settings so the Monument type list in New Quote matches the stones your shop sells.

MonuDesk comes with a set of built-in monument types. If your shop sells a stone that none of them covers, add your own monument type, and it shows in New Quote next to the built-in ones.
Adding a monument type
Go to Settings β Monument Types, under Order Creation in the Settings menu, right after Service Types. The page lists Your monument types first, then the Built-in types, which are read-only and marked Built-in. Use the search box to find a type.
Click Add Monument Type and fill in:
Name: what the type is called in New Quote.
Looks like: the built-in shape it resembles. It sets the type's automatic thumbnail and whether New Quote offers a base.
Base on by default: whether a new stone of this type starts with its base on.
Thumbnail: automatic from the shape, or upload your own image. Use automatic goes back to the automatic one.
A name that matches a built-in type or another of your own types is refused, so give each type a name of its own.
Where they appear
Your custom types show in the Monument type list in the Items & Configuration step of a new quote, each with its thumbnail. Picking one applies its base default, and its tile gets the Base on / Base off chip, so you can still switch the base for that one order.
Custom monument types are added and edited only here in Settings. In New Quote, the info icon next to the Monument type heading says so: "Need a new monument type? Add or edit one in Settings > Monument Types."
Your monument types are company-wide: every office works from the same list.
Edit and Delete: each of your types has Edit and Delete. Delete hides the type from lists, and orders that already use it keep it.
Putting the types in your order
Click Reorder on Settings β Monument Types to choose the order New Quote lists the monument types in, built-in and your own. In Reorder monument types, drag the types into place and click Save order. Reset to default puts the standard order back in the list; click Save order to keep it.
The order applies to everyone in your company. A custom type you add later goes to the end of the list. Reordering needs the Edit settings permission.
