The Notification Center (Bell)
Use the top-bar bell to catch assignments, mentions, and rescheduled installs in real time.

Find it in the bell icon at the top-right of the MonuDesk top bar. The Notification Center keeps you posted when work comes your way: an order assigned to you, a task on an order, an @-mention in a note, or an install that gets rescheduled. Notifications are personal: you only ever see your own.
The bell and unread badge
The bell sits in the top bar on every page. When you have unread notifications, a small red badge on the bell shows the count. If you have more than 99 unread, the badge reads 99+.
Hover the bell to open the panel, or click it to pin the panel open. Click the bell again, or click anywhere outside, to close it.
The notification panel
The panel is headed Notifications. Each notification shows the person who triggered it, a bold title, an optional preview of the note, and how long ago it happened (for example, "5 minutes ago"). Unread notifications have a light blue tint and a blue Unread dot.
Use the filter tabs at the top of the panel to narrow the list:
All: every notification.
Mentions: notes where you were @-mentioned.
Assigned: orders and tasks assigned to you.
Scheduling: installs that were rescheduled.
Below the tabs, a From: row of teammate avatars lets you filter by who triggered the notification. Tap an avatar to see only what that person did. If you have no notifications for the current filter, the panel reads Nothing here yet.
What triggers a notification
There are four things that send you a notification, and each one always points back to a specific order. You are never notified about your own actions, only when someone else does one of these:
Assigned to an order: someone assigns an order to you ("You were assigned to order #1234").
Assigned a task: someone assigns you a to-do on an order ("You were assigned a task on order #1234").
Mentioned in a note: someone @-mentions you in an internal note ("You were mentioned in a note on order #1234"). The notification includes a short preview of the note.
Install rescheduled: the date or time of a scheduled install changes on an order assigned to you ("Install for order #1234 was rescheduled").
A single note that mentions three teammates creates three separate notifications, one for each person. Likewise, if one rescheduled install is linked to several orders, each order's assignee is notified.
Jumping to the source
Click a notification to go straight to what it is about. The notification is marked read automatically when you open it. Where you land depends on the type:
Order assigned: opens the Orders board, filtered to your avatar, with the order card highlighted.
Task assigned: opens the Orders board with the order card and the specific task highlighted.
Mentioned in a note: opens the order in a popup over your current page, on Notes & Files, with the mentioned note pulsing so you can spot it.
Install rescheduled: opens the Installation Planning calendar, jumped to the month of the install.
Replying to a mention
For mention notifications only, you can reply without leaving the panel. Hover the notification and click Reply to open a composer right there. Type your message, and type @ to mention more teammates, then send. Your reply is posted as an internal note on that order, and the row is marked read. Other notification types do not have a reply button.
Marking notifications read
One at a time: hover a notification and use the mail icon to toggle Mark as read or Mark as unread. Opening a notification also marks it read.
All at once: when you have unread notifications, a Mark all read button appears at the top-right of the panel. It clears the badge.
Good to know
They are personal. Notifications are delivered per person and are never shared across the company. You can only see and manage your own.
They arrive in real time. As long as you are logged in, the bell and badge update on their own when new notifications come in, with no refresh needed.
There are no settings to manage. Notifications are in-app only. There is nothing to turn on, no per-type toggles, and no email or push options.
Not seeing any? The bell only fills when someone else assigns you work, mentions you, or reschedules an install on one of your orders. If none of that is happening, the panel stays empty.
