Open Settings → Partners to manage the companies that place orders with you. This is where you invite a partner and set how each one pays you. This article also covers the rest of a partner connection: reviewing the cemeteries they ask for, sending them a price, accepting an invitation from another company, working on their board, and sending one of your own orders to a supplier.
Inviting a partner
Click Invite Partner. While you have no partners or invitations, it is the button in the middle of the page; after that it sits at the top right. Enter the partner's Company Name and Email Address and send the invitation. They receive an email link that connects their company to yours. When they redeem it, their onboarding pre-fills the company name you typed, with the hint "Your partner filled this in for you. Change it if it's not right." They can change it.
Until they accept, the invitation sits in your partner list with an Invitation sent badge. Click Resend to send a fresh link (the button shows Sent for a moment), or the trash icon to delete the invitation, which stops the emailed link working.
Your partner list
Each partner appears as a row with their contact details, their Payment Terms, and the connection's Status. Click the pencil icon on a row to open the partner's details: their company information, their payment terms, plus View Orders and Deactivate Partner. A deactivated partner no longer sees the orders you shared with them.
Which location a partner's orders land in
If your company has two or more office locations, the partner's details (the pencil icon on their row) also have a Location section: "Orders and price requests from <Partner> land in this location, and its team gets the alerts." Your main location is listed as "<Office> (main location)" and is where their orders land until you pick another. Choose a location and it saves straight away. Partner and supplier alerts for those orders go to your owners and that location's team.
Payment terms
Every new partner connection starts on Pay on installation: nothing is collected up front, and the full amount is due at installation. A pending invitation already shows these standard terms in the Payment Terms column, and you can change them once the partner accepts.
To put a partner on different terms, click the pencil icon on their row and pick an option under Payment Terms:
Pay up front: full payment is collected before work begins.
Deposit, balance due on install: a deposit is collected up front; the balance is due once the monument is installed. Set the Deposit Percentage below the options.
Pay on installation: the default. The full amount is due at installation.
Net terms: billed on net terms (e.g. Net 30) after the monument is installed.
Picking an option saves immediately.
Note: Payment terms describe how this partner pays you for the orders they place. They have nothing to do with the partner's MonuDesk account, which is free.
Cemetery requests from partners
When a partner is building an order and cannot find the cemetery in your list, they send you a request straight from the order. You review those requests under Settings → Cemeteries, not on the Partners page. The notification you get for a partner's cemetery request opens Settings → Cemeteries as well.
A Cemetery Requests card sits at the top of Settings → Cemeteries: "Cemeteries your partners could not find in your list. Approving one adds it to your cemeteries." The card is there only when requests exist, with a badge counting the ones still waiting on you.
Each pending request shows the cemetery name, its location, any note the partner added, and a line reading "Requested by {company} ({person}) on {date}". You have two choices:
Approve: the cemetery is added to your own cemetery list and the request moves to Already reviewed. Then set its fees and foundation rules in Settings → Cemeteries.
Decline: a dialog headed Decline <cemetery name> opens, where you can type a short optional reason for the partner ("Optional. For example: we do not serve that cemetery."), then click Decline.
The five most recent requests you have handled stay listed under Already reviewed, marked Added or Declined.

Sending a price to a partner
A partner's quote request lands on your board like any other order, and so does an order a dealer sends you with Send to Supplier. Open it and enter the prices in the pricing card on the order popup, then click Send price. On a single-stone order you can price the request straight from that card; with two or more stones, enter the prices through Edit Order first.
Send price stays disabled until the total is above zero, with the hint "Enter the prices above first."
A confirmation asks "Send this price to <Partner>?" and spells out what happens next: they get notified instantly by email and in the app, the price appears on their board, and they accept or request changes. Click Yes, send price, or Not yet to go back. Tick Don't show this again to skip this confirmation from then on.
The partner is notified by email and in the app.
Afterwards the button reads Price sent and the price fields are read-only: "<Partner> already has this price. Prices unlock when they request changes." If the partner asks for changes, a banner reads "<Partner> requested changes to the price" with their note, and the fields unlock so you can price it again and send.
Once the partner accepts, a green Accepted by <Partner> chip replaces the button. On an order you handed to a partner yourself, the chip reads Assigned to <Partner> instead. To hand one of your own orders over, use Assign to partner in the order header's three-dot (⋯) menu: "Share this order with a partner company. They can review it and accept the price or request changes."
At the partner company, accepting a price or approving a drawing takes a team member whose role can edit orders.
Cancelling or completing a shared order
When you cancel an order you shared with a partner, everyone at the partner company who can see it gets an Order cancelled notification in the app and an email: "<Your company> cancelled order #1234. It will not go ahead. You can still find it under Archives on your board." A partner can no longer Accept the price or Request changes on a cancelled order, or on one that has left your board. Trying shows "<Your company> cancelled this order, so you can no longer accept it." Approving a drawing on a cancelled order is refused the same way.
On the partner's board, the Archives button opens their completed and cancelled orders, each with the date it was completed or cancelled. An order counts as completed for your partner once you move it into your Completed stage. A stage you named something like Installed or Delivered stays an ordinary column on their board.
Mentioning partner staff in notes
On an order shared with a partner company, typing @ in a note lists the partner company's team as well as your own. Partner people are shown with their company name in brackets, for example "Dennis [Childcompany]", so you can tell the two teams apart. Mentioning one of them notifies their own bell, and their notification opens their own copy of the order. A note that mentions someone at the partner company is saved as External automatically, so they can read it.
Notes written by the other company refresh on their own about every 30 seconds while the order is open and the browser tab is visible, so their replies appear without reloading the page.

Accepting an invitation
When another MonuDesk company invites yours as their partner, you get an email with a link.
If your company already uses MonuDesk, the link shows "You already have a MonuDesk account" with a Sign in button that returns you to the invitation once you are signed in. If you are signed in as someone else, the button reads Sign out and continue.
If the invited email is new to MonuDesk, the connection is made once you set a password.
After the link is redeemed, an amber banner appears on the Orders page: "<Company> invited you to work with them on MonuDesk", followed by "Accepting lets you place orders with them and follow those orders on their board. Your own orders stay private." The banner carries two buttons:
Accept: the banner closes and their board appears in your board switcher.
Decline: the banner closes and the two companies are not connected.
Only the invited company answers the invitation, and only while it is still pending.
Switching to a partner's board
The Orders board toolbar carries a board switcher. It reads My Board when you are on your own orders, or the partner company's name when you are on theirs. Open it to see My Board and, under Partner boards, every company that has invited you.
Choosing a partner board switches the app into that company's partner view, where you place quote requests with them and follow those orders on their board. Choosing My Board returns you to your own orders. The board you picked is remembered in that browser.
Your owner can hide prices from one of your team members here: open the person in Settings → Team and switch off Can see prices. That person then sees no prices in the B2B portal: catalog, quotes, orders, invoices, totals and documents.
Orders you placed with a partner company live on that partner's board only. Notifications, contact pages and order links still open them.
When you send a quote request, the purchaser is filled in with your own company name, email and phone ("Filled in with your company details. Change them only if you want the family on this order."), and those fields stay editable. The Cemetery & Plot Details card carries a Do you need us to install the stone? checkbox, which is stored with the request. Leave it off if you set the stone yourself and the cemetery and foundation fields stay hidden ("Leave this off if you install it yourself. Cemetery and foundation details stay hidden."); unticking it clears any cemetery you had already chosen.
A company that uses MonuDesk only as a partner sees My Board with a lock, and selecting it opens the Basic plan dialog. Its Settings menu holds Profile, Company Profile, Team and Billing.
Sending an order to a supplier
A supplier is a company that invited yours as a partner from their own MonuDesk account, so your company is the invited side. You can send one of your own orders to that supplier as a price request: they price it on their board, and you accept the price or ask for changes.
Open the order and click the three-dot (⋯) menu in the order header.
Choose Send to Supplier ("Send this order to a supplier as a price request."). You need the Edit Order permission. It is not offered on an order you received from a partner or a supplier, or on one you have already sent.
The Send order to supplier dialog explains: "Order #N is sent to the supplier's MonuDesk board as a price request from your company. They see the full spec, price it, and you accept it on their board view. Your own prices are never shared."
Pick the company under Select a supplier and click Send order. The dialog closes, and the supplier has the order as a price request on their board.
With no supplier connection yet the dialog reads "No connected supplier yet. A supplier connects with you the same way you invite partners: they invite your company from their MonuDesk account."
What the supplier gets. The order lands on the supplier's board as a price request, marked with a Price requested badge and your company name, with the full spec and the stone price filled in from the supplier's own inventory. They get one Price requested by a partner notification in the bell and one email. They price it and click Send price, exactly as described under Sending a price to a partner above. Until they send their price, changes you make to the order reach their copy.
Back on your side. Your board card follows the request: Sent to <supplier> while they price it, Priced by <supplier> with the amount once their price is in, and Price from <supplier> accepted after you accept. Click it to open the order on the supplier's board view. Inside your own order popup, a Price from <supplier> card sets the Supplier price next to Your price to the family and Your margin, with Accept price and Request changes. You get a notification as soon as their price lands.
On orders you sent to a supplier before Send to Supplier became a price request, the ⋯ menu offers Unlink from Supplier ("Disconnect this order from the supplier copy."). Both orders remain, and your updates stop reaching the supplier's copy.
