How to Set Up Card Display
Configure what shows on each order card: the header, the subtitle, and the body rows, including stone type and delivery method.

Control what appears on each order card from Settings β Card Display, under Workflow & Pipeline. This is set per company, so everyone on your team sees the same card layout on the Order Management board.
Header and subtitle
Each card has a header (the top line) and a subtitle (the second line). Pick what each one shows from its dropdown. By default the header shows the decedent and the subtitle shows the order number and type. Other options include the purchaser name, cemetery, and order number.
Body rows
Below the header and subtitle, the card shows a set of body rows you can toggle on or off and drag into the order you want. Options include the decedent, cemetery, cemetery section / lot / space, the order started and quote started dates, balance due, total amount, paid amount, order type, the purchaser name, phone, and email, who created the order, the last activity date, Promised by (the promise date), Delivery method, Stone type, and Lead source. A live preview updates as you make changes, so you can see exactly how the card will look before you save.
The Stone type and Delivery method rows
Two body rows sit at the bottom of the list and start switched off:
Stone type, with the helper text "Shows the service type on service orders". Switch it on, drag it into the position you want and click Save changes. The preview then reads "Stone type Upright". On the board the row is labelled Stone Type and gives the monument type in plain words, such as Upright, Flat Marker, Ledger or Footstone. On a service order it shows the service type name from Settings β Service Types, and on an order with more than one stone it shows the first stone's type.
Delivery method. Switched on, the card shows a Delivery row reading either Cemetery or Customer Pickup.
Companies that were already using MonuDesk find both rows waiting at the bottom of their Card Display list, switched off, so nothing on the board changes until someone turns them on.
Lead source sits below them and starts switched off as well. Switch it on and each card shows a Source row with how the family found you, such as Phone call, Walk-in or Referral. The value comes from the Lead source pill on step 1 of + New Quote. A quote a family sends from your website fills it in by itself: Website form or MonuStudio (website). Note: the subtitle option Order number + type still means Retail or Wholesale. It is not the stone type.
How decedent names read
Show decedent names as sits at the top of the Card Display page. It sets how each decedent's name reads: pick the name parts in the order you want, for example Last name then First name, and whether a comma follows the first part, so the name reads Smith, John. The default stays John Smith. The live preview shows the result, and Save changes stays greyed out until at least one name part is picked.
The choice applies to the board cards, the order search, the search dropdown and the to-do order picker. Search finds a decedent whichever order the name is typed in: John Smith, Smith John, Smith, John, or with a middle name.
Count active orders only
This switch is not on the Card Display page. The Order management settings card on Settings β Order Management holds one switch: Count active orders only. Switch it on and the order count, total and outstanding amounts at the top of the order board leave out orders in the Quote and Completed columns, and the header reads N active orders.
This one is personal: it changes only your own board, so it does not need the Edit settings permission and your teammates keep their own choice. It starts switched off.
Saving your layout
Click Save changes when the layout looks right. It saves for the whole company and applies to every card on the board straight away, and every logged-in user sees the rows you switched on. To change it later, come back to Settings β Card Display. Reset to default puts the shipped layout back, which leaves Stone type, Delivery method and Lead source switched off.
Changing Card Display needs the Edit settings permission.
