How to Manage Custom Line Items

Save the line items you reuse across orders, like a standard vase or a common marker, so they appear as suggestions when you add a line item to an order. Manage them in Settings → Custom Line Items.

Adding an item

Click Add Line Item and enter a name and a price. Mark it Taxable if tax should apply when the item is used on an order. Each saved item appears in the list with its name, price, and taxable status.

If your company runs more than one location, the dialog also has a Different prices per location switch. Turn it on and you set a price per shop; leave a shop blank and it keeps the price above. While the switch is on, the main Price field is locked and stays the fallback for the shops you left blank, so switch it off if you need to change it. At a single-location company the switch is shown grayed out.

Editing and deleting

Use the pencil to change an item's name, price, or taxable setting, and the trash icon to remove one you no longer need. The search box filters a long list, and you can sort by name, price, or taxable.

Using them in an order

When you click Add Line Item while building or editing an order, the item name field suggests your saved items, with the most-used ones first. Pick one and its name and price fill in, and stay editable for that order. You can also create a new one on the spot by typing a name and choosing the Use [name] option.

The price you see in that list is the one for the location the order is booked to, so what you pick is what lands on the quote.
